SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos IV Epiphanes, 175-164 BC. AE (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.77 g, 12 h), quasi-municipal issue, Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 168-164. Radiate and diademed head of Antiochos IV to right. Rev. ANTIOXEΩN - TΩN / ΠPOΣ ΔAΦNHI Zeus standing front, head to left, holding wreath in his right hand; to left, tripod. SC 1417.4. Beautiful earthen highlights. Minor edge crack and the obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, good very fine.
